KRALENDIJK, BONAIRE (Dutch Caribbean) — August 5, 2026 — Independent musical project Missing North today announced that their debut single, “Straight to Nowhere,” will officially release worldwide on August 14, 2026. Anchored by a profound philanthropic mission, 100% of all net proceeds generated from streams and downloads—after digital distribution and online platform fees—will be exclusively donated to the Headstrong Project to fund veteran PTSD recovery and mental health treatment. “Straight to Nowhere” serves as the powerful introduction to Missing North’s debut studio album, “Letter to Home,” which is scheduled for a worldwide release at the end of September.
A Global Homage to Combat Veterans
Born from deep respect and empathy, the entire Missing North studio project is conceptualized as a global homage to combat veterans across the world. The music explores the complex emotional landscapes, silent sacrifices, and profound resilience of those who have served on the front lines.
“For the combat veteran, PTSD is an everlasting black cloak that never fades, silently draping the heavy shadow of war over every moment of peace. With our music, we cannot make that go away. But we can try to raise money for the professionals who can. It comes straight from the heart,” says Claus H. Neumann, the musician behind the Missing North studio project.
By translating these heavy experiences into a powerful sonic journey, Missing North aims to raise both widespread awareness and vital funding for the invisible wounds of war.
